The 14th International Exhibition of Tools, Equipment and Technologies MITEX-2021 was held in Moscow. Four exhibition days turned out to be very busy: in two pavilions of «EXPOCENTRE» about 200 companies from 11 countries presented new tools and equipment.

On November 10, the exhibition together with representatives of key partners of the event - Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Association RATPE, JSC «Expocentre» - was opened by Deputy of the State Duma Nikolay Valuev. After the opening, he got acquainted with interesting samples of products on the stands of the participants, talked with representatives of industry media and ordinary visitors to the exhibition. The opening ceremony was attended by Jamaldinov H.A., Head of the Development Department of Machine-Tool Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, who noted that the Ministry supports the event on a permanent basis, because it is impossible to develop other branches of economy without a reliable tools. In 2021, MITEX gathered the most active players in the tool industry. Stands were presented by such industry leaders as A-iPower, Briggs&Stratton, Dantherm, KNIPEX-WERK, Kolner, Patriot, PositecGroup, STABILA, PC Vekmprom, Vnestrechkontrakt, Lite Trading, Mytol Rus, OptromToptrorg, Stavtr, Uralpetroltech, Felimax, «PLANT «FIOLENT» and many others. The total area of the exhibition was 12500 sq. meters. German tool manufacturers presented their products in the unified national pavilion MadeinGermany. The tools from India, Turkey, Poland, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China ware available at the stands of suppliers from those countries. Traditionally, the widest range of tools was presented at the stands of Russian participants of MITEX. «Made in Russia» program was presented again, this year it united more than 50 companies. The difficult situation all over the world is an incentive for Russian manufacturers to increase the turnover of production and to offer new ideas and interesting solutions to the market. Equipment and tools on the MITEX were presented in 27 thematic sections. This broad specialization has allowed to attract professional buyers, who can find their tool and get a profitable offer for its delivery through personal communication with manufacturers, testing and workshops, expert discussions at MITEX. The business program was also rich: expert discussions, industry conference, master classes and business meetings. Experts and practitioners discussed at the Conference of the Association of Trade Companies and Manufacturers of Power Tools and Small Mechanization Means «Russian market of power tools and means of small mechanization. The work of the exhibition was covered by the constantly working press-center of the event itself, and branch publications and portals - «CONSUMER» - a series of magazines, www.master-forum.ru, www.forumhouse.ru and others, which through newsletters and posts in social media informed everyone, who could not attend the exhibition personally about what was happening on the main industrial expo of the country. Participants of the exhibition noted the high professional level of the guests of the event and its wide geographical scope. The activity of visitors from the southern regions of Russia - Dagestan, Krasnodar Krai and Crimea was especially noticeable. According to the feedback of MITEX participants, the exhibition provides an opportunity not only to learn about current trends in market development, but to get acquainted with the innovations of the tools industry as well. Above all, it is an efficient working platform for getting new contacts. Here at the only industry event of this scale in Russia, the CIS, the countries of Central and Eastern Europe - traditionally meet professional suppliers of tools and those who use it in work or own business. MITEX is interesting for those DIY visitors as well. This year, as part of the exhibition, the carpentry show and various master classes were held again in partnership with RUBANKOV.
